Per Allan's suggestion, I loaded Raid Controller version 8.8.0.1009 in the hopes that might fix the problem. I had 3 boots with no raid rebuild and I thought problem might have been fixed. Today, the Raid Controller thought the Raid volume was degraded (just like before) and proceeded to rebuild the raid set (All hard drives are OK. rebuilding raid volume). Could there be something flaky in one of the newer drives that is "forgetting" something so that the controller thinks the volume needs to be rebuilt? Do you think my next step might be to replace another drive again?
